IMC seeks industry executives for leadership committee
May 25, 2016
The IoT M2M Council – the largest and fastest-growing trade association in the IoT sector – is looking for industry executives of high standing for seats on its connected leadership committee (CLC), a steering and advisory committee of OEMs, enterprise users and applications developers that deploy IoT services in the field.
Benefits of having a seat on the CLC include free access to IMC events, and a stipend of £1000 ($1500) for accepted presentations and participation at those events. It also provides access to comprehensive, quantitative research on the IoT sector, broken down by vertical markets.
There will be the chance to meet top industry providers on the IMC board of governors, including AT&T, Intel, Deutsche Telekom, Telit and Wipro. It also provides extensive global promotion for organisations as thought leaders in the industry.
The CLC will help set the direction for the IMC in terms of its policies and programmes on education, research and advocacy. The only requirements are participation in a quarterly teleconference of about one hour, providing demographic and biographic information, and giving the IMC permission to reach out to you on a quarterly basis.
The IMC board of governors will assign seats on the CLC based on the industry standing of individuals nominated and their companies. Only enterprise users, OEMs and applications developers that are actually deploying IoT products and services will be considered for the committee.
The IMC is the largest and fastest-growing trade association serving the IoT and M2M sector, with more than 17,000 members, and growing by almost 300 new members weekly.
