ASR licenses Ceva IP for NB-IoT range

ASR Microelectronics of Shanghai has licensed multiple Ceva technologies for its upcoming system-on-chip (SoC) products for narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) edge devices.
ASR will incorporate a range of California-based Ceva’s IP into its wireless products to power cellular, Bluetooth and wifi connectivity and enable emerging applications in computer vision, voice and audio.

ASR is a fabless semiconductor company dealing with 2G, 3G, 4G and other wireless technologies. The company’s products include thin modem, handset and IoT devices that power wireless and consumer electronics markets.
