Arduino launches IoT website and manifesto
April 7, 2016
The Arduino open source microcontroller project has launched a website focused on the Internet of Things and a set of tutorials to help program Arduino boards for IoT functions.
The project has also published what it calls the “Arduino IoT Manifesto”.
According to Arduino, this is “an important statement that will guide the development of our IoT products and tools in the coming years, and that we hope will be adopted by a larger network of people and industries.”
The project is also launching its project hub, a platform for creating Arduino applications. This will incorporate what the developers describe as more modern and flexible tools for writing code and content.
